Immunisations & travel
For those who are eligible under the NHS, we provide the following vaccinations for adults:
Meningitis Vaccination
In addition to the childhood meningitis vaccination (which covers Meningitis B), this vaccination covers Meningitis ACWY and is recommended for teenagers and young adults under 25 years old. It is especially important for those going to college or university for the first time. This vaccination is routinely offered to teenagers in school years 9 and 10, but if you missed it or are coming to the UK to study, please telephone us to book an appointment with the nurse.
Pneumonia Vaccination
Adults over the age of 65 years old and those with certain health conditions are at increased risk of pneumonia. We offer a pneumonia vaccine to eligible people - please telephone us to book an appointment with the nurse. For most people, a one-off vaccination is all that's needed, although people with some conditions (e.g. those without a spleen) may need booster vaccinations.

Shingles Vaccination
We offer a shingles vaccination to eligible people in their 70s. If you are eligible, please telephone us to book an appointment with the nurse.
